Situated on the Devon/Dorset border in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Hook Farm in Uplyme offers the perfect relaxed campsite for exploring the breath-taking Jurassic Coast and all that it offers.
Enjoying a peaceful countryside location only one mile from the beautiful seaside town of Lyme Regis. Lyme Regis can be reached via a beautiful riverside walk. Hook Farm encompasses over five acres of camping pitches, as well as hard standing for motor homes, glamping and a number of static caravans available for hire.
Hook Farm’s location makes it the perfect basecamp for enjoying many of the local long-distance walking trails, with ready access to the striking Undercliffs section of the South West Coast Path, and the East Devon Way providing a convenient riverside walk down to the sea. Please ask in the shop during your stay and we will happily advise on the walks and directions.
We don’t have on site entertainment, but we have a small natural play area suited to young children.

At peak times including school holidays we have pop up food events such as Wood Fired Pizzas and Burritos.
Our on-site shop is stocked with general camping essentials, basic food and BBQ requirements, sweets and alcohol, as well as a local information section on events and attractions. Wi-Fi is available throughout the park on a pay-per-use basis.
For provisions not stocked by the on site shop there is the nearby Uplyme Stores offers many everyday staples within easy walking distance, while the Talbot Arms’ range of home-cooked food and real ales is guaranteed to give you a true taste of rural hospitality.
The campsite is situated within a dark skies valley which means on clear nights our campers can sit outside their tents or motorhomes and enjoy stunning views of the night sky and Milky Way. Also it is possible to see the International Space Station when in view. Please ask in the shop for timings of possible sightings For the more dedicate star gazers the campsite is near to Trinity Hill Nature Reserve which was awarded in August 2015 Dark Sky Discovery Site status.

We make the perfect stop of for touring trips being a 5 minute drive from the A35 or for longer stays for campervans and motorhomes up to 7 metres in length.
Set on the side of the Lym Valley with over 5 acres of camping pitches. Our pitches are sheltered by well established trees and our terracing give our site a unique feel.
Our cosy Shepherds Hut was fully refurbish in 2018 offering a touch of luxury in the beautiful Lym Valley.
In a separate area we have a small number of modern static caravans for hire and for sale. We can accommodate up to 5 guests (maximum of four adults). We have 1 pet friendly caravan available.

Lyme Regis is a beautiful old seaside town famous for the Cobb harbour and setting for the French Lieutenant’s woman. Just 1.5 miles away, Hook Farm is the closest campsite to Lyme’s sandy beach and a perfect base from which to explore the town’s shops and restaurants and wander the surrounding countryside.
